No two are ever exactly the same. These stamps are small, quiet tools, but they hold a lot of history for me. Many of the patterns are inspired by my Hungarian heritage, the folk motifs and symbols I grew up seeing and feeling, mixed with forms pulled from nature and the simple devotion found in milagros. They carry a sense of protection, gratitude, and everyday reverence. Once the stamps are fired, I press them into soft clay. The rhythm is slow and intentional, and the clay records every mark. Because the stamps are handmade and used by hand, each tile comes out slightly different. A curve here, a deeper impression there. Those variations are not flaws, they are the evidence of touch. After drying and firing, the tiles are finished with soft, matte glazes that let the imagery remain the focus. The result is something meant to be held close, hung with care, and lived with. These tiles are made to be gifted, collected, and slowly added to over time. Small pieces that carry story, memory, and meaning into a home. I think of them as quiet companions on the wall, each one holding its own presence, while also belonging to a larger, ever-growing whole." Made in Rough and Ready, California
