Moiré Table Lamp - Special Shade

Materials: Dyed Straw Marquentry Dimensions: Width: 18 1/2 Inches Depth: 9 7/8 Inches Height: 29 3/4 Inches Details: Having created this beautiful straw marquetry finish in our workshop, we wanted to use it on a simple form that reflects the changes in colour and appearance depending on how you view it and the light conditions - a living light. Our straw has been carefully dyed and applied in a very fine inlay technique that creates a moire silk effect or even a watery current through the material - one colour melting into another in a shimmering pattern. The sensuous form of the Moire Table Lamp is capped by the woven intricacy of Anne Corbiere's Cadenza fabric to continue the intricate weaving sensibility. Collection: Modern Scholar, Spring 2026
