Quick Catch & Kill Sticky Tape

The SIRENIX Quick Catch & Kill sticky tape is applied to the upper interior wall of the SIRENIX basin to capture adult mosquitoes that rest in the shaded area of the basin. This helps further reduce the local mosquito population. The primary function of the SIRENIX Ovitrap is to interrupt the mosquito life cycle. It attracts pregnant female mosquitoes to lay up to 500 eggs in the basin, where solar-powered LARVASONIC® acoustic energy eliminates the larvae before they can mature. Capturing adult mosquitoes can further accelerate population reduction, particularly when SIRENIX units are deployed during the peak of mosquito season.
