Unlike traditional denim, crosshatch fabric features slub texture running in both directions throughout the weave — creating a subtle crosshatch grain that gives the denim more depth, character, and dimension. As the raw black denim breaks in, the textured yarns fade and patina beautifully over time, revealing vintage-style wear patterns unique to the person wearing them. Structured, textured, and designed to age beautifully with years of wear. ______ Please Read (Raw Crosshatch Care Instructions): We intentionally left these jeans raw, unwashed, and untreated. We didn't wash these jeans, and neither should you (for a few months) to allow the denim to fade naturally with wear. If you must wash, turn the garment inside out, then hand wash with cold water only and very little soap, and then hang dry to finish. To minimize shrinkage and maintain the garment's texture, do not use a machine or dryer, ever.
