Slowform — Arita Coffee Cup Made in Arita, Japan – a region with a 400-year history of porcelain production – this filter cup reimagines the familiar silhouette of classic stackable café glassware in refined porcelain form. Slip-cast using a custom blend of natural Touseki (porcelain stone) with iron and sand added, each piece has a unique mineral-speckled finish. The exterior is left unglazed with a smooth matte texture, contrasted by a glazed interior designed to resist staining from coffee over time. Designed with a wider rim, the cup gives filter coffee more surface area as it cools, helping aromatics develop as you drink. Its stepped shape offers a natural resting point in the hand, while the 230ml capacity makes it well suited to filter coffee and longer black or milk-based drinks.
