The Monthly Hide — May Amber Harness Each month, I’ll be working with a leather we don’t normally stock. Something I rate. Something worth building with. I’m calling it The Monthly Hide. The idea’s simple. The series stays. The leather changes. This month, it’s Amber Harness. Bridle leather from A&A Crack & Sons. Thick. Dense. Built properly. The kind of leather that doesn’t need breaking in — it earns it over time. Then it’s stitched. Not for show. For strength. That stitch line reinforces the structure of the belt and helps eliminate stretch before it ever becomes an issue. This run is limited to what we can cut from just two hides. Once it’s gone, that’s it for this leather. Next month, we move on to something new. Some leathers may return. Most won’t. And for this drop, every belt is made by my hands. Start to finish. No outsourcing. No shortcuts.
