Cut from 24 oz waxed canvas and lined with 12 oz 100% wool, it delivers serious weight, warmth, and durability—at 3.5 lbs in a size medium, it’s nearly three times heavier than most vests in its class. New this year is a cropped fit, making it easier to access your pants pockets without sacrificing coverage. A rear tail flap blocks cold air from riding up your back, while chest hand warmer pockets are placed for comfort when sitting, and side-entry lower pockets keep your hands shielded in the cold. Finished with a two-way solid brass No. 10 zipper that won’t rust, reinforced with triple-stitched seams and bonded nylon thread, and cut for real work in real conditions.
