Inspired by an earlier print titled Another Bad Night Out On Sausage Street - originally printed at Coriander Studio - the work marks a return to collage, layered text, bold colour, and cut-paper composition. Drawing from ideas first explored in a 1992 poster for Glasgow Corporation, the piece reflects McLean’s playful humour and fascination with urban culture, consumerism, and exaggerated city life. Nostalgic yet energetic, Another Day Out In Coffee Alley reconnects with the bold visual language of his earlier practice while bringing it firmly into the present.
