Billet Aluminum Performance Intake Manifold for 1.8 & 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 2

A brand-new approach for the RTMG team, our aim was to design and produce something unique. Our new intake manifold for 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 2 engines! It replaces the OEM plastic intake manifold, offering improved performance across the entire rpm range, faster turbo spool and impeccable style. Benefits of the Intake Manifold for Big Turbo or Hybrid Applications The larger-volume intake manifold is widely used in racing applications, as it offers significant advantages over the factory plastic intake: a) The forged aluminum construction provides much greater strength compared to plastic and does not crack under high turbo pressures. b) The larger plenum stores more air, which is delivered during the intake valve opening, increasing air supply to the engine. c) The intake runners have a conical shape, increasing airflow velocity into the cylinder head, resulting in better engine filling, even at low RPMs. d) Aluminum does not deform under thermal stress, unlike plastic, preventing air leaks during operation. e) Allows for the installation of a larger throttle body and bigger intake piping for improved airflow. f) Supports the installation of a methanol injection kit with four injectors for additional cooling and performance gains. g) The fuel rail features a larger internal diameter and threads for increased fuel flow. h) In addition to performance benefits, it is a stunning product that enhances the appearance of the engine bay. Designed and manufactured in Greece with state-of-the-art cnc machines, incorporating Venturi cones for maximum air flow and optimal balance between cylinders. For the installation of the intake manifold, an ECU reprogramming is required in order to disable the intake flap operation.
