The Bat and Bottle Spring Case

Giustini Negroamaro 2025 We import some fabulous sunshine in a bottle! This time we have plumped for the ‘Serra Blu’, a bone-dry, immaculate Erbaluce from northern Piemonte; we are so happy that it is now our best-selling sparkling wine, proof that there is life beyond Prosecco (though we love our Prosecco, it is worth mentioning that not all Prosecco tastes the same, ours a genuine and fantastic wine). This case has 2 lovely white wines, one from the heart of Italy, the other from the North; both deliver refreshment and refinement. Pink is represented by the wonderfully crafted ’Motta del Lupo’ Rosé, a wine that Paolo has long been obsessed by, and this vintage is my favourite. The 2 reds are: Giustini’s Negroamaro, which has a lovely depth of plummy, strawberry fruit and Andrea’s Suri, I still think of Barbera d’Asti as Italy’s passport, but Puglia appears to have overtaken the north, it will be interesting to see which one you prefer.
