1st Generation Eames Storage Unit (ESU)

This is an unaltered 1st generation Eames Storage Unit. The family that owns it lovingly call it "Herman". It was purchased new and has remained with the family up until I brought it into the shop. When it came to me there were unorginal replacement doors on the bottom which were cut from plastic commercial light fixture panels (the kind used in fluorescent drop ceiling housings). They can be provided with purchase. I have documented the overall condition the best I possibly can. Despite it's flaws it presents beautifully. The piece has been carefully cleaned and is ready for the right collector.
