Grown at 1,250–1,800 meters in the lush highlands of Amazonas, San Martín, and Cajamarca, Peru, this coffee is wet-processed (washed) to highlight its crisp clarity and vibrant character. They carefully harvest and sort cherries before depulping, fermenting, washing, and drying the coffee using their own micro-mills. In Peru, most coffee is cultivated on small family farms where growers tend just a few acres of land using organic farming practices and process their cherries using small on-farm micro-mills. Producers work with an organization that helps small farmers access the specialty market while coordinating infrastructure, quality control, and export preparation, bringing these exceptional beans to coffee lovers around the world.
