Pair of Small Cast Iron Honeycomb Shelf Brackets Beautiful and delicate in appearance, but very strong and robust. Traditionally made, these ornate brackets are cast from an antique Victorian pattern. An authentic complement for period homes, barn conversions, cottages and for restoration projects Cast iron with a protective lacquer finish. Pre-drilled with 3 holes on each side. They can be used either way up to provide a 15cm or 12cm support base. Price includes two brackets. Dimensions: 15cm (6") x 12cm (4¾") Weight: 300g (approx) for a pair of brackets. Fixing screws included (Please note - different screws may be required depending on load and wall construction.) How they are made These brackets are "sand cast" - the same process used to make the original Victorian brackets. Molten metal is poured into sand moulds formed using an antique pattern. This makes an authentic antique style which is not machine finished.
