This stunning instrument has had the same owner for over three decades There have been no changes made by the current owner so we can only list its story as known. Classic 355 specifications so Mono and Stereo output options via two jacks, a 6 way Varitone giving a variety of sounds and a pair of top quality T top Humbuckers, one covered, one uncovered. There is absent gold plating on the pickup cover and tremolo plate and some corrosion on the tremolo arm and pickguard. Mahogany neck, Maple body, Ebony fingerboard. 24.75" scale. Gorgeous diamond inlays and tri binding throughout. Whilst the top of the guitar has seen plenty of action, the back and sides of the instrument and back of the neck and tuners are all in very good condition for age. The frets are very low and we think this guitar has been refretted by the previous owner. The binding has coloured to off white throughout, the guitar overall is in fabulous condition for age with minimal markings over time and superb patina and a glorious faded almost dark cherry sunburst, a rare beast of this era. Serial number dates to 1975. Fully serviced and restring with Ernie Ball Ultra Slinky 10-48 before sale. Non original hard case with some black gaffa on one side as pictured.
