Fuji from Oshino Village is among the most stunning in Japan. With its superb composition, refined colors, and striking contrast, this work has a powerful yet peaceful presence. This large-format print was printed on a soft-textured washi paper, a type of paper not often used by Ido. In my opinion, the paper seems to give the colors a somewhat crisper and clearer appearance than in his typical works, making the image feel especially vivid and expressive.
