The SHIELD WS HARNESS Y31 is RRD’s premium low-profile carbon support windsurf harness, designed for riders who want maximum stability without sacrificing comfort or freedom of movement. Its light yet rigid outer shell features a 3D-moulded spread-tow carbon composite plate that stiffens the back of the harness, evenly distributing pull from the spreader bar to enhance support during powered sessions. Unlike many other hard-shell harnesses on the market, the flexible side and rib panels maintain full mobility, allowing you to move naturally while still benefiting from firm lower-back reinforcement. The interior combines memory foam with soft neoprene for a secure and cushioned feel, keeping you comfortable during long or demanding rides. The upgraded barpad with stabilizer wings prevents the hook from twisting or riding up, while the universal windsurf hook can be swapped for a rope bar with stabilizer wings (available separately) to add wave-riding versatility.
