Join soap maker Darcy Pendergrass for an intimate evening of cold-process soap making inspired by nature’s gentle exfoliants and floral aromatics. In this hands-on class, you’ll craft your own luxurious botanical soap using plant-based oils, natural exfoliants, and a custom blend of floral essential oils designed to leave skin feeling soft, refreshed, and lightly scented. We’ll explore how natural ingredients can help buff away dull skin while supporting a healthy glow — all without harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances. You’ll learn the basics of cold-process soap making, work with natural additives in a safe and guided environment, and leave with the confidence and a better understanding of what goes into truly natural skincare. Each participant will make approximately 3 bars of soap to take home after curing. Your Class Experience Includes: Hands-on cold process soap instruction All-natural soap-making ingredients Botanical exfoliants and floral essential oils Protective gear includes: gloves, aprons, and eye protection Important Details: Ages 14+ welcome Class size limited to 6 people Soap requires a 4–6 week cure time Finished soaps may be picked up in Carlton or shipped for an additional fee Closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, and long pants are required Long hair must be tied back Participation waiver required for all attendees Students under 18 must attend with an adult Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in before class begins.
