Featuring a moveable tape, it allows construction and surveying professionals to set and determine actual elevation. It comes with heavy-duty, matte-textured face to protect the tape markings from fading and provide great visibility at all times. With oversized brass grommets and a tape lock pin that will not tear, puncture, or rip the tape when pushed against it, it ensures long-lasting service. Equipped with tough, clear anodized aluminum front and rear rods, this direct reading laser grade rod by LaserLine resists rusting, splitting, swelling, or warping. Its solid tape lock with internal brake slide permits smooth, trouble-free operation. Designed for use with laser detectors, it comes with a special black rail that accommodates a detector and enables it to slide through the full working length of the rod for easier and faster readings. This high-density, UV-stabilized detector rail can withstand heavy exposure to direct sunlight without becoming brittle. The LaserLine Metric Direct Reading Laser Grade Rod offers superior durability with its high-strength DuPont nylon parts. It is available in two lengths - three meters and five meters - and collapses down to 1.8 meters (six feet) or 2.4 meters (eight feet) for convenient storage and transport. It is printed with graduations in centimeters and optional color-coded cut and fill markings. Supported by a one-year manufacturer's warranty, it guarantees many years of excellent performance.
