These 1-year-old seedlings are between 2 to 7 inches in height from soil line with healthy roots, as pictured above of a seedling of similar size and age. These baby plumeria are just waiting to be nurtured in your garden! Growing a plumeria seedling is a wonderful experience. Many new plumeria varieties are originally discovered from seedlings, making each one a unique surprise as it matures. Our seedlings are grown from fresh seeds collected from our own trees here at Big Island Plumeria. Much like children don't always look exactly like their parents, seedlings are not guarnteed to bloom true to the parent tree. Every seedling is genetically unique and may develop it's own beautiful colors, patterns, and fragrance. Most seedlings bloom within 3-4 years, and there's a wonderful change of seeing stunning fragrant blooms in the years ahead. Prior to shipping, soil will be removed, and your plant will be carefully packaged in damp moss or paper towels to ensure freshness upon arrival.
