Short carbon fibers are compressed under pressure into a shape – the result is a surface that looks organic, almost mineral, with a pattern that never repeats. Two instruments made from forged carbon never look alike. That is not a design decision. That is the material itself. The Forged Edition No. 4 is the fouth instrument of this kind to leave our workshop. Entirely black, from the top to the scroll – no contrast, no accent, nothing to distract from the surface itself.
