Salt Pig - seconds

Detailed handwork on the exterior of this unique salt pig gives it the look and feel of organic stone. It is a beautiful and practical piece to keep on your countertop, perfect for reaching in and grabbing a pinch of salt while cooking. This piece comes from the batch where I discovered just how challenging it is to achieve these effect glazes. On the base of these salt pigs, the glaze shows some light surface cracking. This does not affect the quality or durability of the ceramic - and between us, you won’t notice it once it’s filled with salt ;) Surely, these lovely salt pigs will soon find their new home! Approximate measurements, as they vary: diameter 8.5 - 10 cm/ 3.3 - 3.9" height 11-12 cm / 4.3 - 4.7" Dishwasher safe. For packing your pottery we use 100% recycled bubble wrap and mostly paper tape. Packing slips and invoices are printed on unbleached, recycled paper. All items are very well packed in bubbles and individual boxes, inside a larger box, to arrive safely to you.
