Our Mountains is an ode to the Galilee region in Palestine, celebrated for its lush landscapes and majestic mountains. This collection honors the people and land of 1948 Palestine with a dinner plate hand carved with a traditional Tatreez motif of a mountain from the Galilee, painted in five underglazes and coated with a transparent food safe glaze. Perfect for serving your favourite meals, bringing the stories of land and people into your home and onto your dining table. The colour palette is painted in five underglazes: olive green, peach, orange, brown, and kiwi green, reflecting the natural tones of the region—olive trees, fertile soil, sun-warmed stone, and the vibrant greens of the hills. Handbuilt using speckled stoneware clay and finished with three layers of transparent, food-safe glaze. Fired to 1260°C, making it strong, durable, and fully vitrified. It is food safe, non-porous, and suitable for everyday use. Dimensions: 24 cm x 24 cm square plate / 1.5 cm height
