The 2016 Specialized S-Works Shiv TT was Specialized's top-tier triathlon and time trial platform, purpose-built for UCI-legal competition with an emphasis on fully integrated aerodynamics and precise fit. Specialized, founded in 1974 in Morgan Hill, California, engineered the Shiv around proprietary wind-tunnel research, establishing it as one of the most capable TT frames available during its era at any price. This Small example is built around the S-Works FACT carbon frameset — a full-monocoque design with an integrated aero cockpit comprising the S-Works Shiv TT carbon aerobar and matching aero stem, all feeding into a Shiv Aero FACT carbon seatpost for a seamlessly aero silhouette. The drivetrain is a SRAM Red 2x10 mechanical groupset with a QUARQ power meter crankset running 50/34T TT chainrings, giving the rider precise power data for every interval and race segment. Braking is handled by Specialized's own aero-integrated calipers that keep the frontal profile clean. The Zipp 404 clincher wheelset delivers proven aerodynamic performance well suited to triathlon and time trial courses. A CeramicSpeed OSBB integrated ceramic bottom bracket keeps drivetrain friction to a minimum. Pedals are not included.
