We offer a lifetime warranty on our welds and a 1 year unlimited mile warranty on all parts. The driveshaft comes fully assembled with the transfer case slip yoke, balanced and ready to bolt in. Installation is as simple as sliding in the transfer case yoke and bolting up the straps. If you need new straps for the rear end yoke, select that option below. Be sure to check for clearance issues with the old carrier bearing mounting bracket. Many Duramax trucks require you to remove the carrier bearing bracket so that the new larger driveshaft does not rub on the carrier bracket. Some driveshafts with cheaper prices have conversion u-joints that step from one u-joint size to another or greaseable u-joints. Conversion and greaseable u-joints are not as strong as the cold forged solid cross u-joints that we use and have more play.
