Danish Modern Modular Bookshelf Cabinet System in Teak Wood
This vintage mid century Danish modern modular cabinet and shelf set in the style of Christian Hvidt is circa 1980. The minimalist Scandinavian modern design features clean, geometric lines with elegant, compact proportions and the set is solid and well-crafted from teak wood. This versatile storage system was designed to be modular and consists of four individual cabinet units - two with hinged doors and hidden storage and two with open shelving. The four units can be stacked vertically or arranged side-by-side horizontally; used together or separated, and arranged in a variety of configurations. Four separate bases can be attached to any of the four cabinets. Cabinet Interiors are finished, cabinet doors have soft-closing hinged brackets and all cabinet shelves are adjustable and removable. Cabinet bases attach with wood screws. CONDITION Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Some minor fading where shelves have been relocated. Some areas may have had some minor stain touchups, but not readily noticeable. Four individual bases are included. Wood screws also included.
