9.75x1" Rustic USA American Eagle Plaque Silicone Mold

This mold is 1" deep but you don't have to fill it all the way, we recommend a minimum pour of 3/4" to ensure stability and rigidity. This mold works just as well with concrete or plaster as it does with epoxy resin. Once you demold your casting the raised design will become apparent. We highly recommend making the texture "pop" using a dry brush painting technique or applying something like "Rub N Buff" which is a rub on colored wax. This will highlight the raised / textured areas as shown in the sample photos on this product page. This mold features a very rustic / textured finish. You should not expect glossy/mirror like castings out of this mold. It has a wood grain and burlap like finish throughout the surface. This texture makes it easy to apply a quick painting technique like dry brushing to create truly unique, antiqued looking pieces.
