Pinot Gris, Domaine Coudoulet
Pinot Gris, Domaine Coudoulet, IGP Pay d'Oc About the Wine This expressive Pinot Gris strikes a beautiful balance between richness and freshness. Medium-bodied and gently creamy in texture, it offers generous flavours of ripe pear and dried apricot, lifted by delicate floral notes and a bright line of acidity. Subtle hints of nutmeg and fresh ginger add warmth and complexity, while a lightly saline finish brings freshness and elegance. A wonderfully versatile white that sits stylistically between the richness of Alsace and the vibrancy of northern Italy. About the Producer Domaine Coudoulet is a long-established family estate in the Languedoc, run today by brothers Jean-Yves Ournac and Pierre-André Ournac, the sixth generation of the Ournac family. While rooted in the traditional appellations of Minervois and La Livinière, the domaine became known for pioneering high-quality international grape varieties in the region, including Viognier and Pinot Gris. Now joined by the seventh and eighth generations of the family, Domaine Coudoulet continues to evolve while remaining deeply connected to its heritage. Careful vineyard work, thoughtful winemaking and a strong family spirit lie at the heart of wines that combine generosity, freshness and remarkable value.
