This armor vest item includes the following: the original cover, new soft armor panels in black ripstop (100% UHMWPE). This item is not for sale as cover only. It comes with the original cover and the NEW soft armor panels. The original soft armor panels are NOT included (the front and rear NEW panels are included). If the original panels are also desired, please contact us before purchase (additional fee). Soft armor is made from 100% UHMWPE and is buoyant. Want to add hard armor? The 6B5-15 uses a unique hive (Ulej) tile system — small overlapping ballistic tiles that fill the vest's scale-pattern pockets for broad torso coverage. Hard armor tiles are sold separately and can be added to this vest at any time.
