Visible fixings give a more traditional appearance and allow for quick and simple installation, making it a practical option for both new doors and replacements. Turn & Release thumbturns are used to operate a deadbolt and are typically fitted below a door handle or door knob. A quarter turn (90 degrees) locks and unlocks the door with ease. The external side includes a coin release slot, allowing the door to be opened in an emergency.
