It is a one-of-a-kind handbag, crafted from luxurious obi sashes, such as Nishijin-ori, that have served their original purpose. These sashes are combined with a brass handle featuring an arabesque pattern, hand-carved piece by piece by Kuninobu Yoshida, a fifth-generation craftsman inheriting the tradition of Hiroshima Buddhist altar fittings. The sewing is meticulously handled by the artisans at Yassa Kobo Nishimachi.
