TechDry AD Water Repellent Mortar Additive

TechDry AD (Techdryad Mortar Additive) is a liquid you add to the mixer with your cement and sand to make the mortar itself water-repellent. It is the standard partner product for Tech-Dry water repellent blocks - those blocks shed water, which also makes it hard for ordinary mortar to bond, and this additive fixes that while cutting efflorescence and water staining on the finished wall. Dose it at 1 litre per 40kg of cement in a 1:4 cement-to-sand mix; do not go leaner than 1:5 and do not add lime. It is not a waterproofing membrane - always do a pilot panel before starting the job.
