Restored French Cabinet

This restored French cabinet would bring warmth, character and practical storage to a bedroom, dining room, hallway or living space. Its rich oak colouring and traditional detailing make it an appealing feature piece, while the tall, compact design provides generous storage without taking up excessive floor space. The cabinet has two panelled doors, each featuring an intricate carved floral and urn motif, framed by moulded detailing. Inside, two adjustable shelves and a base shelf provide versatile space for clothing, linens, crockery or household items, while three drawers offer useful additional storage. Brass hinges and decorative handles add a pleasing traditional touch, complemented by the shaped apron and elegant cabriole legs with scroll feet. The previous finish has been stripped and the cabinet has been lacquered, enhancing the natural grain while providing a durable, easy-care surface. The cabinet is in very good condition. This item is constructed from oak and oak veneer, with a plywood back. With its carved decoration, warm finish and useful combination of shelving and drawers, this French cabinet offers both visual appeal and everyday functionality. It would make a distinctive addition to a traditionally styled or characterful interior. [dimensions][w]88[/w][h]155[/h][d]43[/d][/dimensions]
