Stars and Stripes - Silver/Black - Reversed

4 INCHES WIDE The Reversed flag is part of the US Flag Code, which applies to placement on spacecraft, aircraft, and service members’ uniforms. United States Army regulations require, “The US flag cloth replica is placed so that the star field always faces forward, or to the flag’s own right.” The flag must always be positioned to look like it is flying forward. One can better understand this as a flag viewed flying from a flagpole. No matter which side of the pole you are viewing from, the starry field is always forward. This is why a reverse flag is painted on the right side of an aircraft, or spacecraft. Reversed US Flag Decal from the Sierra Hotel Aeronautics Pilot Shop & Pilot Supply Co.
