Information Dobinsons springs are quality, Australian made coil springs. Their coil springs are ‘hot wound’ and the hardening and tempering of their coil springs is completed by an extremely precise electronically controlled furnace to eliminate breakage and sagging. Each coil spring is precisely wound by a programmable logic computer to achieve perfect pitch. This precision is extremely important when manufacturing variable and progressive rate coil springs. All Dobinsons coil springs are load tested and scragged 100% to eliminate subsequent spring sag, and ensure they meet and maintain the required specifications. Dobinsons also perform spring fatigue and hardness testing using in-house state of the art testing equipment. A durable powdercoat finish provides extreme protection against the elements. All ULTIMA shocks are gas charged and use specific grades of oil designed to minimize heat build up, allowing ultimate performance in all conditions even at extreme stroke rate. All ULTIMA shocks use OE NOK oil seals. Every ULTIMA shock absorber is dyno tested during production to ensure each unit meets specific valving specifications set after many years of development and testing.
