These Ishibashi FSR Jazzmasters were typically supplied with a soft gig bag, making the hard-shell case a significant upgrade over the standard package. It provides substantially better protection for storage, transportation, and shipping while also giving the complete package a more premium feel. For anyone comparing this guitar with other examples offered with their standard gig bags, the included hard-shell case is a meaningful added benefit and helps set this one apart. Ishibashi FSR This model was produced as an FSR for Ishibashi, giving it a combination of specifications and cosmetics created specifically for the Japanese market. The upgraded alder body and special finish package make it a distinctive alternative to the standard Traditional ’60s Jazzmaster, particularly for players and collectors looking for Fender Japan models that were not part of the regular worldwide lineup. Mystic Aztec Gold & Matching Headstock The Mystic Aztec Gold finish and matching headstock are the visual centerpiece of this Jazzmaster. An anodized gold aluminum pickguard complements the metallic finish, while aged white pickup covers and controls provide contrast and reinforce the vintage-inspired aesthetic. Traditional Jazzmaster Electronics A pair of vintage-style Jazzmaster single-coil pickups is paired with the traditional lead and rhythm circuits, retaining the control layout that has defined the Jazzmaster for decades. The floating tremolo and vintage-style bridge complete the familiar offset configuration while the 9.5" radius provides a slightly more contemporary playing surface.
