EXCAVATED CONFEDERATE "CS" EGG BUCKLE FROM WARTRACE, TN

Purchased this plate from Rafael Eledge of Shiloh Civil War Relics at the Franklin, TN Civil War Show. Original Civil War Confederate Western Theater CS Egg Buckle (Mullinax #137) that was recovered from the Wartrace / Shelbyville, TN area. The buckle has a beautiful dark patina with nice CS letters. The paperwork states that there were no repairs to the plate itself but the hooks were professionally restored by Robert McDaniel. Comes with three COA letters from Civil War Dealers with a chain of ownership to the original digger. (Stones River, Franklin Relics, 1st Alabama Cavalry). A great CS Plate that will display strong in any Museum or Private Collection. Please see all photos. Reference: Collecting the Confederacy by Shannon Pritchard
