We Are Rupture

We Are Rupture: Signals from the Heart of the Rave marks two decades of the seminal London club night and record label founded by Double O & Mantra. Rooted in community, Blackness and sound system heritage, Rupture has always centred the people who built it – this book honours their experience. Gathering stories, poems and reflections from dancers, artists and event producers, it asks a question bigger than any anniversary: why do we rave, and why does it matter now more than ever? From international ravers making the pilgrimage to Corsica Studios, to rave as grief processing and somatic healing, this book captures something that goes far beyond the dance floor. With contributions from Fabio, DJ Storm, Tim Reaper, DJ Flight and many more, this is a living document of 20 years of modern jungle.
