Son of Man

About This ImageIn warm golden light and expressive brushwork, artist Jay Bryant Ward captures a timeless portrait of Jesus Christ — serene, reverent, and quietly powerful. Rendered in the tradition of classical oil portraiture, Son of Man depicts Christ in three-quarter profile, his gaze lifted heavenward, his expression a study in peace and depth of spirit. The loose, textured brushwork of the flowing cream and linen-toned robes — their frayed edges evoking the folds of a tallit or prayer shawl — gives way to refined, luminous detail in the face and neck, where warm light falls with dramatic chiaroscuro. A soft neutral background keeps all focus where it belongs: on a presence that speaks without words.Printed on gallery-quality media, this vertical format print brings contemplative beauty to any devotional space, living room, bedroom, or place of worship. A meaningful gift for baptisms, confirmations, Christmas, and every occasion that calls for something genuinely sacred.DetailsMade to order.
