Color Striping Houndstooth Wrap Weaving Pattern by Josh Steger - Digital Download
I wove this houndstooth wrap years ago, and people have been asking me how to make it ever since, so here is the pattern to make your very own! A cream sparkle yarn and a self-striping yarn trade places 2 ends and 2 picks at a time in plain weave on a rigid heddle loom. As the self-striping yarn changes color, the houndstooth shifts with it, moving from dark to light like a gradient plaid. Every wrap comes out a little different. The ends are hemstitched on the loom and finished with twisted fringe. Digital Download: This listing is for a PDF of the pattern. After checkout, you will receive an email with a link to download it. Yarn and loom are sold separately.
