Sim Racing Pro SRP GT-S Sim Racing Pedals (Black Edition) The Sim Racing Pro SRP GT-S is a compact two-pedal set, throttle and brake, built around the same R-Piston V5 pneumatic brake as the flagship SRP GT-R. Pressing the brake compresses air in a sealed industrial cylinder, so resistance rises progressively the way it does with a real master cylinder. There are no elastomers to soften with heat or wear out, and SRP rates the R-Piston for 3.5 million km with no maintenance schedule. Each set is designed, CNC-machined and assembled in-house in Barcelona, Spain. This is the Black Edition, finished in stealth black anodised AL6061 aluminium. Key features R-Piston V5 pneumatic brake No elastomers, no maintenance schedule R-Piston rated for 3.5 million km Tool-free brake hardness adjustment Real-time pressure tuning from your wheel Optional Travel Regulator for 15 to 45 mm stroke 16-bit resolution, 65,536 steps Ceramic pressure transducers SKF needle bearings 5-axis CNC AL6061 aluminium, 28-micron hard anodised USB-C, LED status and calibration board Free MySETUP software with custom curves and profiles A brake curve that matches a real car Compressed air produces progressive, non-linear resistance, the same curve your foot learns in a real GT or formula car. SRP points out that elastomers respond mostly linearly and soften as they heat up, while the R-Piston's curve stays the same from the first lap to the last. The piston has a stainless steel body with industrial NBR seals, and the sensing uses ceramic transducers that SRP says suffer no thermal fatigue. Tune the brake your way Brake hardness adjusts tool-free, and brake pressure can be fine-tuned in real time from your wheel or gamepad without pausing the sim. That makes it easy to move between GT, touring, rally and endurance cars. Stroke is set by the optional GT-S Travel Regulator, from a stiff 15 mm short-throw stop to 45 mm of long, progressive travel. Browse our sim racing pedals range for more options. MySETUP software SRP's free MySETUP software handles calibration and telemetry. Program progressive or linear brake curves, switch between dedicated profiles for GT3, formula and endurance cars, and use PRO Mode, a set of algorithms SRP developed with professional sim racers. A high-speed USB-C connection carries 65,536 steps of resolution, and an on-board LED board gives instant status and calibration feedback. A rigid cockpit is required The pneumatic brake produces high forces, so SRP requires a rigid cockpit with a firm pedal mount. The GT-S is not recommended for flex-prone wheel stands, floor mounting without reinforcement, or cockpits without a solid seat-to-pedal connection. If you are planning a rig to suit, see our racing simulators. Our expert take "The GT-S puts SRP's R-Piston pneumatic brake, the same unit as the GT-R, into a more compact and accessible set. The progressive, fade-free brake and tool-free hardness adjustment suit drivers who want hydraulic-style feel without fluids or elastomers to look after." "Two things to plan for: it needs a genuinely rigid cockpit, and the base plate, Travel Regulator and pedal angle adjustment that come standard on the GT-R are separate upgrades here. SRP also notes that drivers coming from load cell pedals should start on the softest setting while they adapt." - Blake Sterling, Founder & CEO, Gamer Gear Direct Frequently asked questions How is the GT-S different from the GT-R?Both use the same R-Piston V5 pneumatic brake. The SRP GT-R Sim Racing Pedals (Black Edition) adds a Brake Travel Regulator, a full structural base plate and pedal angle adjustment as standard. On the GT-S these are optional upgrades, and the pedal geometry is fixed. Can I add a clutch?Yes. SRP sells a GT-S Clutch Kit that bolts on to make a three-pedal set for manual, rally or drift driving.Does it work on PlayStation or Xbox?It works natively on PC over USB-C. For PlayStation and Xbox, it works through a third-party DriveHub adapter, sold separately. Can I adjust brake travel?Yes, from 15 mm to 45 mm with the optional GT-S Travel Regulator.I am coming from load cell pedals. Will it feel different? The pneumatic brake feels firmer at first because pressure rises progressively, like a real car. SRP suggests starting on the softest setting for a few sessions. What else fits the GT-S?SRP lists the Travel Regulator, base plate, clutch kit, heel rest, foot rest and pedal vibration kits, all bolting directly to the GT-S chassis.
