Arper Catifa 46 Chair – White Shell, Oak Legs

The Catifa 46 was designed in 2004 by Spanish studio Lievore Altherr Molina for Italian maker Arper. The shell is one continuous curve from seat to back, with no visible joins or fixings. At 520 mm wide it is a compact chair, so a set sits comfortably around a small table. These have solid oak legs in place of the usual steel, the upgrade option in the range. The timber warms up the white shell, so the chair suits a dining table as much as a meeting room. They were supplied in Australia by Stylecraft, Arper’s distributor here, and still carry the Stylecraft sticker under the seat. Condition Pre-owned and in good condition overall. There are several available, and each one varies slightly, so please see the photos. Oak is a natural material, and variations in grain and colour are part of its character.
