Patchwork - original painting

Patchwork — Original Landscape Painting Patchwork is a vibrant original acrylic and mixed media painting by Michael Sutherland, celebrating the countryside as a richly patterned mosaic of fields, trees and hedgerows. Golden yellows, turquoise greens and sweeping pink and orange furrows bring warmth and energy to the landscape. Deep green trees anchor the composition, while expressive outlines, scattered marks and layered textures offer details to discover up close. Continuing Michael’s evolving landscape direction, Patchwork draws the viewer into a closely cropped countryside scene, where familiar shapes become bold arrangements of colour and pattern. A compact painting with a lively presence, it brings a bright focal point to your home. Painted on a chunky, gallery-quality canvas, it comes in a wooden float frame finished with clear varnish to reveal the natural grain. The frame sits halfway up the canvas depth, allowing the artwork to project forwards for a contemporary finish. Patchwork is one of three companion paintings alongside Tapestry and Weave. All three share the same canvas size and complement one another beautifully. They can be purchased individually or together to display as a trio.
