Paphiopedilum QF ʻOhala (herrmannii x henryanum)

Paphiopedilum QF ʻOhala is a brand-new primary hybrid from Quintal Farms in Hawaii, registered in October 2025 from Paph. herrmannii × Paph. henryanum. Both parents are compact slippers, so expect a small plant that pairs henryanum's rose-spotted dorsal and rounded, glossy pouch with the warmer green-and-chestnut tones of herrmannii. Both species come from the limestone hills of northern Vietnam and southern China, where they root in moss and leaf litter over rock. Give moderate, indirect light, 55–82°F, an evenly moist, free-draining bark mix, and a little calcium to mimic that limestone home. Blooming size — photos are representative of the plant size and maturity available. One of the newest Quintal Farms Paphs, in small numbers.
