German Brass Pencil Sharpener

This solid brass pencil sharpener comes from a German family company founded by Theodore Paul Möbius, which has made precision hand sharpeners for four generations. Based in Erlangen, Germany, the company still manufactures in its traditional ways. The sharpener has three settings that shape different points, from a fine tip for precise lines and writing to a blunter point for soft sketching. The brass is weighty in the hand and ages into a deepening patina with use.
