[Pre Order] The Flaming Lips - The Teardrop Throbs - LP *

Release Date: January 22, 2027 The first Flaming Lips studio album in six years, arriving via Third Man Records. Few bands have the legacy, the continued insistence on innovative impact, or the staying power the Flaming Lips have accrued across more than forty years as a group — and The Teardrop Throbs is their first studio album since 2020's American Head. The record finds the group issuing a reminder of what made them mandatory listening: lush arrangements coupled with exquisite production and songwriting distilled over time. Wayne Coyne darts from poignant and direct on "Every Teardrop Cried" to more melancholy and somber notes on tracks like "The Trees Are Getting Their Leaves."
