Overview 120V insulated heat blanket for RV sewer hose freeze protection. A self-regulating heating cable is factory-installed inside the blanket, while the built-in thermostat automatically switches heating on and off based on ambient temperature. 120V Plug-In 6 ft power cord. 5W/ft at 50°F Self-regulating heating cable. Built-In Thermostat Automatic temperature-based ON/OFF control. Dual Indicators Green = power; red = heating. Before Ordering Designed primarily for RV sewer hoses Confirm the blanket size matches your hose setup Keep the thermostat exposed to ambient air Do not cut, splice, kink, or sharply bend the heating cable Important: The insulated blanket does not generate heat by itself. Heat comes from the factory-installed cable. The thermostat must remain outside the blanket and must not be covered with insulation, tape, or other materials. The separate built-in thermostat provides automatic temperature-based ON/OFF control. Installation Basic Installation Place the blanket under the sewer hose with the inner surface facing the hose. Position the factory-installed heating cable channels along the underside of the hose, with the cable loop near the lowest point. Wrap the blanket around the hose and secure it with the hook-and-loop fasteners. Adjust the blanket so the orange edge is centered along the top of the hose and the heating cable remains positioned along the underside. Manage excess blanket length around the RV outlet or valve, or fold and secure it neatly. Keep the built-in thermostat outside the insulation blanket and exposed to ambient air. After installation is secure, plug the system into a 120V AC outlet. Important Installation Rules Do Not Cut Do not cut, shorten, splice, or modify the heating cable or power cord. Avoid Sharp Bends Do not knot, twist, sharply bend, or tightly overlap the heating cable. Protect the Cable Keep excess cable and blanket away from sharp edges, abrasion, pressure points, and moving parts. Expose the Thermostat Do not cover the thermostat with the blanket, tape, insulation, or other materials. Inspect before use and during the heating season. Stop using the product immediately if the heating cable, power cord, plug, or other electrical components show cuts, burns, cracks, deformation, exposed conductors, water intrusion, or other damage. FAQ What is included in the heat blanket system? The self-regulating heating cable is factory-installed inside the insulated blanket. The system also includes a built-in mechanical thermostat, a 120V power cord and plug, dual indicator lights, and integrated hook-and-loop fasteners. What do the green and red indicator lights mean? Green indicates that power is connected. Red indicates that the heating system is actively heating. Does the heating system turn itself on and off? Yes. In addition to the self-regulating heating cable, the product has a built-in mechanical thermostat that automatically switches heating on and off according to ambient temperature. Can the thermostat be covered by the blanket? No. Keep the thermostat outside the insulation blanket and exposed to ambient air. Do not cover it with the blanket, tape, insulation, or other materials. What should I do if the blanket is longer than the hose section? The excess portion may be wrapped around the RV outlet or valve for added protection, or folded and secured neatly. Keep it away from sharp edges, pressure points, moving parts, and areas where it could be abraded. Can I cut or shorten the heating cable? No. Do not cut, shorten, splice, repair, or otherwise modify the heating cable or power cord. Can the blanket remain installed year-round? Yes. The blanket may remain installed year-round. When freeze protection is no longer needed, disconnect the power. The blanket may also be removed and stored for future use. What does the 1-year warranty cover? The product has a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, accidents, unauthorized modification, or failure to follow the instructions is not covered.
