Compare all six Futu models What it keeps, what it drops A task chair, edited for meetings Kept: HÅG inBalance® Seat and back still move together around a balance point, so people shift and lean during a long meeting instead of sitting braced. That movement is the reason to buy a Futu for a meeting room rather than a fixed visitor chair. Kept: seat height and seat depth Whoever takes the chair can set it to their legs in seconds — 40–55 cm in height and 37–45 cm in depth — which matters in rooms where a different person sits down every hour. Dropped: the task-chair settings No tilt-tension adjustment and no tilt lock, no lumbar support, the 150 mm lift only, and no 3D armrests or polished base. Fewer things to adjust also means fewer things left in an odd setting by the previous user. Futu mesh chairs around a meeting table — the room the Comm is made for. The base Four-star or five-star? The base is the decision that changes how a Comm 1102 behaves in the room. HÅG Futu Comm 1102 bases Base When to choose it Four-star with glides Ø785 mm, the standard Comm base. The chair stays where it is put, which suits a table people sit around. Choose glides for carpet, or felt glides for hard, smooth floors. Five-star aluminium, castors Ø730 mm, in the frame colour. Rolls back from the table — the better choice for training rooms and for chairs that move between rooms. Five-star black plastic, castors Ø670 mm, at no extra cost. The same rolling behaviour in black. Polished bases are not offered on the Comm models. Castors are only fitted to the five-star bases; glides only to the four-star. The four-star base is being phased out Flokk is phasing out the four-star Comm base during 2026, while stocks last; the five-star base with castors replaces it. The aluminium is 100% recycled. Certification Flokk issues its Futu test certificates — EN 1335, ANSI/BIFMA X5.1, GS — for the task chairs, with the 1200 as reference model. The Comm is a meeting chair and is not intended for NPR 1813. If a tender asks for a specific certificate on the Comm, ask us and we will check with Flokk.
