DOUBLE FACE COAT/UNDYED YAK

Our permanent double face coat, oversize silhouette with round shoulder. It has been updated this season to make it more minimal, the collar is now attached. This is an exclusive fabric made by Seya, part of our permanent collection. Precious Yak wool is woven into a double layer fabric, with smooth touch, elegant luster, and outstanding durability. Yak is a rare material, favorite of seya. It’s a noble fiber, as fine as cashmere, but stronger and warmer than cashmere. These animals endure the dramatic rhythms of the Tibetan Plateau, where temperatures swing from -40°C at night to a sun-drenched 30°C by day. In every collection, we honor the material by leaving it undyed. By preserving its raw state, we protect the fiber’s natural integrity. The organic, subtle unevenness in the colors creates a depth no chemical dye could replicate. This material is experienced through two distinct, original yarns: The Woolen Yarn: Airy, generous, and tender. When woven into our double-face cloth, the yak reveals a soft, natural luster that catches the light.
