Bowser the Hound

Thornton Waldo Burgess was a conservationist and prolific children’s author. Best known for his animal stories for young children, Burgess authored over 170 books as well as thousands of columns for the daily newspaper. Burgess’s stories have been enjoyed by children for over a century and still remain popular to this day. Bowser the Hound was first published in 1920 as part of the Green Meadow Series. This edition is derived from the original book with 8 color illustrations by Harrison Cady. As always, this edition is complete and unabridged.
