REON — Bold Strength, Beautifully Refined Now in its fourth year, REON is crafted by three young male brewers at Hokusetsu Sake Brewery, with the goal of creating a sake that is “bold, yet easy to drink.” At its core is a powerful, full-bodied character, beautifully balanced by the soft umami of Yamada Nishiki rice and a fruity, refreshing aroma. With each new brew, the team continues to refine their craftsmanship, bringing even greater depth, strength, and freshness to this year’s REON. The name “REON” carries two meanings. The Japanese character “玲” (Rei) means “beautiful sound,” inspired by the delicate sound of each drop of freshly brewed sake falling during production.
